Building Up Your Personality

Hi Guys,
I'm going to give you some tips to build up your personality in this post, and before we move on to the main topic I would like to explain you about the importance of building up your personality.

We need a good personality to keep a healthy reputation among others, Think you go to face a job interview and if  you do not have enough academic results your personality will be the main thing that they will look for.now lets see what the personality means:
I don't think anyone will be able to give a proper definition to the word "PERSONALITY"  .
The way you dress
The way you talk
The way you walk
The way you eat
The way you smile
Your health
& LOT more...:)
when we gather all these qualities  in to a one word that reflects the word personality......

WHAT CAN WE DO TO BUILD OUR PERSONALITY

first of all you got to make your look good.

the first impression about a person is always created with the look he/she process. so you have to make your look pleasant. you don't have to be a beauty queen to have a good personality. If you are neet enough and if you have a good friendly smile then you are always ahead than others. When you where you have to make sure that all the things that your are wearing suits your passion. that will boost up your personality.

Talk like you never get angry

The way you talk also make a big idea about you in listeners minds. so you have to be very much friendly and kind. Try not to say any lies to others . be creative when you are talking. that will boost up your personality too.

keep your health straight

Don't forget to do exercises on a regular basis. Try to keep your body in a good shape. Don't eat Oily food too much. And if you can meditate at least 15 minutes a day It will really help you to boost up your personality.

If you can develop above qualities you are half way ahead than others. always be polite to others and just be happy as much as you can. try to control your anger. do meditation often and you'll be a super man among your friends.

All the best...!

Deciding ur future

If you are a student who have just finished your o/ls ,you might be wondering what subject stream to do for your A/ls... You might face a bit unsure situation when choosing a subject for your A/Ls. So here are some guidelines to you to make it easier for you.
First of all you should pay more attention in your interested subjects, where you think you are capable of doing. But you can't select a subject stream just because you like it. You have to analise the path and the final satisfaction(job opportunities) before you select a subject.
And you have to find out about the job market and how it will. Change in another 5 to 6 years because You are going to come to the society after about another 6 years.( if you go to a university).
Lets see some examples, think you like geography very much and you select to do it for your a/ls with your other selected arts subjects. So you do it and after you finished your a/ls you'll find a big problem when you are looking for a job because now there aren't much good jobs for geographers.

So before selecting a subject you gotta think about your carrier path too... That will help you to become who you want to be in your future.
These days there are huge job opportunities in IT field, but it might change in another 4 to 5 years, so you better ask from some reputed people in those fields and get in to your final idea......

Hope this helped you a bit in selecting a subject stream for your a/ls, now its up to you to select the best for you... All the best...

Please leave some comment on what you think about this and your opinion...

Selecting IT for higher education??? Then chek this out....

There are only 3 options left to a srilankan student after doing A/Ls, and they are:
1)going to a government university
2)doing a job
3)doing a degree from a private institute

Most of the students will not get a chance to get into a government university, but doing a job without a degree is also not considerable these days so the ultimate option of the most students will be doing a degree in a private institute.

Private higher education institutes in srilanka do not have a good variety of undergraduate degrees, most of the institutes only have degrees related in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, So the outcome of IT professionals has been increased during last 5 years.

Therefore these days most of the students do not pay much attention on IT field, but as I see IT job market is developing everyday and new technology add more departments to IT field(such as android & i OS) so on my opinion doing IT or computer science is a good option to  school leavers.

On the other hand government has given permission to establish private universities in srilanka so now there are lots of engineering degrees to do(CINEC,ICBT,SLIIT,SAITEM,)
Therefor the number of students who is doing IT has been decreased.and that is a good point to the guys who are doing IT because then the competition in the job market will be reduced.

Under all these circumstances my opinion will be that doing IT is not a problem at all. My advice to young school leavers is that don't be afraid to select IT as your higher education path if you really have a interest in it. GOOD LUCK. ;-)

If you are still doing O/ls read this artical on how to choose a A/l subject
